About the Ohio Council for Elementary School Science

We’re OCESS, Ohio’s not-for-profit educational organization serving teachers of early and middle childhood science. Our Board of Directors is composed of elementary school teachers and others concerned with elementary science education in the state. We promote professional development through workshops, our teacher grant program, and here on our blog. We are an Associated Group of the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) and the Science Education Council of Ohio (SECO). Membership in OCESS is free!
